Girls' Day: Pajama Party
Girls' Days are a common occurrence among me and two of my dearest friends, Sarah and Kacie. Kacie and Sarah worked together at Southwestern Energy, then Kacie and I worked together at that same company and now Sarah and I work together at BHP Billiton. It's a funny little triangle, but somewhere along the way we made it a priority to get together and celebrate the beauty of female friendship.
'Tis the season for everything warm and fuzzy, so what better a time for a pajama party with your besties?
The idea started around brunch and then quickly morphed into a Christmas fest when the topic of alcohol lead us to a boozy hot cocoa bar. Naturally, such a cocktail should be enjoyed in the comforts of flannel and so the theme arose.
Our hot cocoa bar included:
Baileys Salted Caramel Liquer
Peppermint Schnapps
Whipped Cream
Mini Marshmallows
Cinnamon
Chocolate Sprinkles
Pirouette Cookies
There's something so precious about girlfriend companionship. Over the years we've supported each other through relationships, family, career changes and general life matters. We embrace our femininity and applaud each other for being strong, independent, beautiful and intelligent women.
There are many unique loves in our lives. Beyond powerful is female kinship and so important it is to celebrate it whenever you can.
