Stepping into our casa particular, dubbed El Conquistador, set the tone for our beach-town stay. The lush plants and colorful murals inside the seemingly typical stucco building enchanted us. Trinidad is a World Heritage site renowned for it's preservation of Cuba's old world charm. It's described as the most colorful city in Cuba and I couldn't agree more.  

I've returned from a one week girlfriends trip to Cuba, split between the cities of Havana and Trinidad. An adventure and culture packed seven days that I am so excited to recap for you!

Last week James and I received some very special visitors (come from aways) to Newfoundland! We were so excited to show off our quirky second home to our dear friends and packed their short time with many adventures. 

Over the weekend and rather spontaneously, James booked us a cabin in the Trinity area. A town named Dildo, a brewery in a town smaller than my high school graduating class and a cabin perfectly settled in a seaside cove. We aim to experience as much of the Newfoundland province as we can, before our impending migration back to the states.  

So much thought goes into planning an epic vacation, but where do you start? How do you get and stay organized with so many must-see places in one destination? 

This adventure was unlike any either of us has ever seized. To tour a country in a tiny camper van, go days without showering, experience severe variety in both weather and landscapes, to make light of travel fiascoes and to soak up luxury all in one expedition. Iceland, you did us well.
